Because it is scorching hot outside. I have to say, that this has been the hottest summer I have endure so far, while living in Miami. To make it work and not melt, for the casual days, I have resorted to wear thin fabrics like silk or jersey for a perfect summer dressing. That is why I bought a bunch of slips and t-shirt dresses, that sometimes look more like a beach cover up (due to their skimpy skirt length), but they are comfy and breathable, just what I need.
I wore this outfit during Miami Fashion Swimweek as most of the events where outside. I love that this outfit is just simple and minimalistic and along with color blocked flat sandals and a color block straw boater hat, it makes this outfit complete.
Another go to of mine, is wearing my hair up, either with braids or with a funky ponytail/braid combo like here, because nobody can stand that 90+ degree heat with their hair down. So let me know what do you wear to beat this heat?
