New York City

New York City Look Outfit - James Perse
If you follow me on social media, you can tell that I visit New York City often. I can’t say it enough how much I love this city. At some point in my life, I thought of moving there, but I remain in South Florida where nothing beats the weather. Every time I go to New York, I have a few places I make it a point to visit. One of them is the MET museum to see their yearly CFDA fashion exhibit. This time around they have the Manus X Machina exhibit, showcasing the different manufacturing processes like embroidery, lace and some high end ones made from fiberglass.  Also while at the museum if it is spring or summer, I go up to the rooftop bar and order a glass of prosecco and from there enjoy the pretty views of Manhattan and Central Park.

Cindy and I, have been obsessed with chef David Chang, and we always grab lunch at one of the Momofuku restaurants. Our favorite is the noddle bar. From there we do a quick stop across the street to Milk Bar, for Crackpie and birthday cake truffles enough to calm down my sweet tooth. In between running to meet people and shopping, and if I have time, we try to see a Broadway or off-broadway show. I know most of the musicals tour and come down to Miami, but is not the same experience than seeing it at their home.

This time we where moving around an going non stop so I wore this ripped jeans, (which seems I can’t take off), a classic button down shirt tied up, comfy slip-ons metallic Vans and a James Perse Anorak, in case it rained.
