Just a Midi skirt

Sometimes, I get inspiration for my outfits from the fashionable ladies, I am sketching up at my live drawing events. Lately, I have seen a lot of these women wearing midi skirts and I love how they look polished and fancy. They can be pencil style or more flowy, styled in different ways, and they always just look perfect. In my closet, I have my share of midi skirts (see how I styled this silky leopard print one. Recently, I had been looking for a denim one. And I got this casual white denim midi skirt at J.crew and loved it. For this outfit, I styled it with a classic button down gingham shirt that I styled to be off-the shoulder. And accessorized with a pearl headband and mule pumps. Alas, nailing that polished and fancy look I was going for.
