Transitioning Layering for Fall

If you are in Miami you know we just had a few days of “cold” weather. For us meaning we can start Transitioning Layering for Fall, and take out a few winter pieces to wear in south Florida. One of my favorite ways to do this, is by taking a dress I wore during the summer and wearing it together with a turtleneck underneath.

The weather here it is still not enough to wear boots, but I can totally see this look with knee high boots, or maybe ankle booties in a blush tone, just like these thick heel pumps. I wanted to break up the girly-ness of this dress by adding a fisherman cap and a dark purple lipstick.  Because a little change is good.

With a new season transitioning, I always like to take a moment to think and reflect, not only on what I am wearing. But also about  my career and life. I find it good for me, to review my goals every so often. This doesn’t go only for business goals, but for other aspects in my life. And although we don’t have a proper Fall season in Miami (sadly no leaf o color changes on the landscape).

I feel this is a time of change and most importantly to plan ahead. Most people wait for the end/beginning of year to do this. But think about it, a few months before, to use as planning can come a long way. Can you tell I am a planner?
