As long as I can remember I’ve always been infatuated by shoes. I have to say I have a borderline obsession with them. It all started when I was a little girl. My grandfather was a wholesale shoes salesman. He had a storage room full of shoe boxes that he would deliver to the nearby towns. My sister and I used to play around the boxes and from time to time we would take a peek to see what was inside. From our visits to my Papa (as we used to call him) I remember he would surprise us with new shoes. I know some people don’t understand this passionate love, but that feeling of seeing that box, unpacking it and sniffing that new shoe smell, it’s one of those guilty pleasures that still brings a smile to my face.
As an adult I have learned to curb my obsession and (for the most part) I decide what shoes I really need to get and which ones I will only wear once narrowing my buying choices. But sometimes I just can’t help it and I end up getting two pairs of shoes in this case one a pump, another an ankle strap, just because a girl needs her options when dressing up.
