Summer Kimono

I’ve found that this summer, I have been wearing a Summer Kimono non-stop. I wear it as a beach/pool cover up, over a one piece swimsuit, or add some skinny jeans or shorts to this exact same look, to go out to brunch or drinks. I particularly love the floral prints on a dark background, like the one I’m wearing on this post. Having so many colors, it matches with almost everything. And of course, I have been wearing it with the other two summer accessory trends that you will find every blogger wearing: a wooden (or rope) retro style bag with a funky shape (the Ark bag) and silky knot sandals, in this case in a yellow mustardy color.

Also the swimwear collection at JcPenney had some really cute selections of bathing suits (one piece and bikinis). I particularly loved the ones from Ambrielle (the one I’m wearing) and Liz Claiborne. They are affordable, and you can stock up now, specially that many of them are on sale right now.
