There is a certain kind of magic that comes from buying new shoes. Specially when they are ones (or a brand) you have coveted for a while. I think every fashion girl dreams of owning a pair of Manolo Blahnik‘s I know I did, from the first time I saw them on Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, I wanted a pair so badly.
Manolo Blahnik shoes are classic, beautiful and nothing short of perfect. For my first pair, I got the chance to snag these metallic copper ones on a sale at Neiman’s, where I got them at a really good price. Finally, I can say I understand the enchantment that owning such a piece of “art” (shoes) gives to its owner.
And at the end of the day my excuse to buy them is that I work too much, so why not spoil myself a little, and look good in the process.
Interesting Fashion Fact: Manolo Blahnik studied architecture in Geneva, then moved to Paris, then London, where he opened his first store. This maybe why I like his designs so much!
