It has been some time since I have drawn anything not related to architecture. Inspired by the first day of fall I felt the need to sketch some fashion ASAP. Living in Miami, I can only dream of days where I get to travel up north and I get the chance to layer up and wear pretty coats.
I saw an ad for Kate Spade in the September issue of Vogue where the colors and feminine shapes of the Eryn maraschino cherry coat and Coreen black skirt stuck in my mind. The background of the ad was Manhattan and it made the perfect inspiration for one of my faceless City Girls. I started sketching and then added some watercolor and this was the result.
I love it!
This is perfection you are so talented.
Thank you! so kind words Rachelle 😀
I live for your illustrations and Kate Spade has got chic on lockdown.
