It is Breast Cancer Awareness month. For a third year in a row, I am collaborating with Bloomingdale’s and the movement created by Annie Vazquez from The Fashion Poet, along with 30 more Miami fashion bloggers. To come together and work on the Bloggers Against Breast Cancer campaign. This time around we are promoting the Stand up to Breast Cancer Sweatshirt, created by fashion illustrator artist Donald Robertson and Alternative, to raise funs and promote awareness for this great cause. It is so amazing to see that as a community, we the Miami bloggers can come together and be part of such a fantastic campaign, all of us being so different, it is always cool to see how each blogger styles themselves.
You can buy the official Bloomingdale’s Breast Cancer Awareness Sweatshirt, in-stores nationwide and online (here). A portion of the sales of the sweatshirt is donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Keep an eye out on social media for the hasthag #bloggersagainstbreastcancer to see the different ways that the bloggers styled the sweatshirt.
Come by and join us fight Breast Cancer !
This Saturday October 8th at 2pm, pass by Bloomingdale’s Aventura Mall, there will be having an entire “Pink afternoon” event, filled with some cool fashion glam beauty stations, pink bites & sips, and a fashion show, on the second floor. If you can’t make it on Saturday, you can also stop by, at the Aventura store at anytime during the month of October to see the exhibit of our photos, taken by the talented Danielle Margherite and see the short film video done by Mr. Bing, so you can catch some behind the scenes and the making of this campaign, and also hear the story against the battle from one of our own Miami Blogger Angeles Almuna.
