As a single girl, when you hear Valentine’s day, you may think of: “Oh! that’s a day for couples to celebrate”. I see it a bit different, being single or dating, I see this “holiday” as a day of love in a greater scale, in the sense that not only a significant other would fill the role of buying flowers or getting chocolates. It’s more like the love that I, as a being, offer into the universe. These means all the love and care that I feel for my family and my friends, and the true value that those relationships are is what true love is.
Whatever way that I end up celebrating this day, I will still go get my hair done and dress-up with dashing red lace dress (a bit cliche but that’s ok), some leatherette leggings and feel fantastic about myself, because a life with love and a positive attitude is good.
