Art week in Miami has started. This means seeing all the chic and artsy people are out and about. It also means long traffic jams and troubles at parking and a lot of walking. If you can by pass all that then enjoy yourself and go see some pretty artwork that not all of us can afford but we can appreciate.
Last night I attended the Art Miami & Context Vernissage. My first art fair this week. I chose to go to this preview night first because they have Banksy’s art on display. I love street art and after meeting Mr. Brainwash last year I had to go to this. In the outdoor Lounge Garden artist Zevs and Speedy Graphito did live exhibits finishing up some urban work.
Another big whoa where Chul Hyun Ahn light pieces. He is a lighting artist of the likes of Olaffur Eliasson. His art is eye catching and intriguing playing around with LED lights and mirrors delivering infinite spaces that make you feel you are in the twilight zone.
Last but not least Desire Obtain Cherish a L.A. based artist created a collection based on designer brands as drugs which if you are a fashionista you can totally understand how addictive Louis Vuitton and Chanel can be.
