DÔA Miami Beach

DÔA Miami Beach
DÔA Miami Beach, is the latest restaurant to open in Miami Beach from renowened restaurateur Arjun Waney. This is the guy behind Zuma and Coya (Two of my fave Miami restaurants). DÔA (pronounced dow-ah), serves a Latino/Asian (think Japanese meets peruvian) cuisine. It is a more casual and affordable version of his other restaurants and the food quality is up to par.

I had the chance to go do a media preview dinner of their menu. And try out South Florida native Chef Carlos Estarita’s food. He absolutely outdid himself and brought some of the flavors and ideas of his previous kitchen experience at Coya and Zuma, where he was a member of the opening team.

TAOS-Chanel-no5-illustrationAs a fashion girl, one of the biggest dreams to achieve, is to get a call to work with the biggest fashion house ever! which is CHANEL, and I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to work with them, thanks to a collaboration with Saks Fifth Avenue at Bal Harbour Shops and Chanel Beauty, I got to to live draw at the store. Block heels

Block Heels
Block Heels

I consider myself more of an stiletto kinda of girl. But while shopping for shoes this past weekend, I noticed these really cute block light blue block heels, and felt compelled to try them on. The first thing I thought to myself, if it looked to much like a shoe that my grandmother would wear, because of the stocky short heel, still I went ahead and tried them on. It was a different experience as I usually wear really high heels or very flat shoes. A short heel is not really my thing, but they are indeed very comfortable, there is no denying that. I looked at myself on the mirror and twisted around a few times to see the different angles.

Five minutes with Badgley Mischka

5 minutes with Badgley Mischka

I got to meet designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka, in store at Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland a few weeks, I had a chance to get a five minute one on one with the designers and talk about their Spring 2016 collection, and about “bar” shoes.

GJ: Looking at your beautiful Spring 2016 collection, and I’ve noticed that it is more tone down and with classic shapes, where are you heading with that?
