Let’s be real, my best feel good moments include me wearing an outfit that makes me feel empowered. It doesn’t matter if it is a power suit or just dressed down for the weekend. When clothes fit right you feel like a million bucks. For today’s post I have partnered with ModCloth, to be part of their #ModClothSquad, and to share with you how I embrace my body. All women have different body shapes, and this is what makes us unique.
For a change I bought this floral jumpsuit, as a backup for a baby shower I was attending, but I never wore it. I kept seeing it inside my closet, so decided to give it a try. I’m not one of those people that usually wear jumpsuits, the entire idea of wearing a one piece, specially in one print or color, never appealed to me (except if it’s all black).
To be honest, I was feeling a little self conscious wearing it. I have gained a little weight as of late and thought it wouldn’t look right. But as I finished getting ready I was happy with the outcome. I think the flower pattern worked on my side. My idea was to make this jumpsuit look chic and not like it was borrowed from the 70’s. I wore it with a white long jacket draped over my shoulders and with studded pumps.
Who wouldn’t want to have their own personal chef? If you are like me, after a long week of work, comes Friday, and I don’t feel like cooking. I also don’t feel like going out. But I wan’t something special to treat myself, and have a small dinner party with some of my friends. Eat In Chef, has the solution for that. This is a web-based service that connects you with a local Chef. With a variety of menus and cuisine styles, from French to Thai, they come right in to your kitchen, brings all the ingredients, utensils and cook for you. Think of this service as a culinary Airbnb. Where you can go see the different chefs profiles and set menus (you can also ask for custom ones). You can see each chefs profile, photos of the dishes and reviews to easily select.
For this post, I am teaming up with Famous Footwear and their new campaign challenging everyone to #stepforward by championing their confidence to be their best self. I stepforward, everyday by pushing myself to try and do new things. In my artwork, you can see that I typically use paper as my canvas, it is what makes me feel more comfortable, but art can be expressed in different canvases. I just have to add some lines and brushstrokes on different mediums, like these Adidas Baseline Sneakers, and create an unique pair.
I think I haven’t seen a magic show since I was a kid. I like the idea of illusions and such, so I was delighted when I was invited to the Faena Theater to see Kevin & Caruso’s Magique. This is a show for all ages, and trust me I went in thinking this was going to be a few magic card tricks that I could figure out, but I have to say it was a very surprising night.
I love watching awards ceremonies like last nights Oscars 2017 celebration, mostly to see the pre-show of the red carpet, and see all the fashion, and of course illustrating it and sharing it .
I’m super excited to share with you my latest collaboration with the jewelry brand Pandora. So check out this upcoming weekend, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of November, I will be in-store at the Aventura Mall, personalizing and customizing these really cute light pink leather jewelry boxes.

I’m really not a person that wears to many prints, yet alone leopard, but while pulling looks for a client, I found this bright red leopard dress and I fell in love with it. Of course, I knew that for me to feel confident wearing it out, and not have people starting at me, New York was the place to do it. Because I was wearing this outfit during New York fashion week, I decided to opt for sneakers, as I was going to be running around all day in between shows and you know me and comfort.
Transitioning to Fall Fashion in Miami is very tricky. We are in September and it is still very warm here in South Florida, but in the essence of wanting to wear boots and darker colors and looking like there is another season here, you have to resort to tweaks to your outfit. Here is one tip I follow, I opt for a light weight fabric. Like this black ribbed cotton tank dress. The thin fabric helps for sure to transpire in this weather and it is great because its airy and comfy, also you still can’t wear anything lined yet without melting away. I wore it with over the knee high boots and a wide brim black fedora hat, that has been sitting for a few months in my closet looking for a chance to be worn.
There is a thing of wearing white, it looks so nice and delicate, and with the right fabrics it looks fancy. I found this sheer white dress, while bargain shopping at TJMaxx and loved the fabric, it has a mesh style finish with embroidered leaves, and a silky nude slip underneath. I styled it with bright red pumps to shy away of it looking to much like a sleepwear piece. Also I opted for a white crossbody bag with a few fringes, to complete the look. My hair was a mess, as the South Florida humidity got the best of me, so I decided to put it up, on a half knot do’. I just did a quick half ponytail and wrapped it into a bun, and pinned it securely. Which worked well to control somewhat the frizziness that my hair had gotten due to the extreme heat and the proximity to the beach.
