A few weeks ago, I introduced to my night skin care routine Olay Retinol 24. If you know me, you know that I take really good care of my skin. I am always in the search for new products to try and add to my daily regimen. Olay sent me their new Olay Regenerist Retinol24 line, this included the night Moisturizer, the night Eye Cream and the night Serum. At first glance, I love that the products are fragrance-free and have a non-greasy feel. Olay Retinol24, delivers 24-hour hydration thru out your day and works with your skin to give you brighter and smoother skin, without the typical irritation that other retinols would.
I have never used retinols before, but was always curious of trying them out. I have a combination skin, and my cheeks tend to be really dry and have an oily t-zone. So I opted to try out the night Serum for a few weeks and share my results with you. I applied the Serum every night, after cleansing my face and just before putting on moisturizer, as it will absorb better. On the first 24 hours of using the product, my skin was visibly more smooth and felt super soft to the touch. I could definitely feel the hydration. And spend the next day without any skin tightness. At this point (just one day), I was amazed with the results and wanted to see what would happen with continued use.
A week into using the product, I noticed my skin started regenerating faster and saw a small peeling in some areas. This just lasted a day. I didn’t have any real irritation from using the product. After a few weeks, I noticed that my face started looking very very smooth, more like a soft porcelain. I couldn’t believe it. I started to use less makeup, as my skin look so good just from waking up.
Because of the unique blend of B3 and Olay’s Retinoid Complex, that includes two types of retinol. Olay Retinol24 doesn’t need a high amount of retinol, as it’s proprietary formula remains potent from first use to last.
Also this is an affordable product. And by having three different products you can use all or apply it to fit your routine. The serum would be used after cleansing your face and before the moisturizer. The moisturizer can replace your daily moisturizing needs and the eye cream goes after the moisturizer.
