Be your own Home Chef

Home chef

I wanted to introduce you today to Home Chef . This is a Home food delivery service, that brings a box to your front door with pre-package meals. They include everything that you need to create a complete dish, sides and all. I love services like this one, because they simplify my life. I have a very busy lifestyle and I really don’t have that much time to dedicate to cook meals. More the less to go out shopping for groceries. The recipes are created by chefs and I can get a delicious gourmet home-cooked meal made from scratch.

Home Chef , was super easy to setup, after a quick signup and questions on my dietary preferences and restrictions, I got to chose from 13 meal delivery options, including gluten-free, low carb, vegetarian, soy-free and nut-free meal. (I picked low carb menu). I was all set up and ready to receive my first Food delivery box.

My box came in with meals with two servings each, and for a meal cost of $9.95 per serving. It really can’t get more cost effective than that for the quality and freshness of the products. Home Chef also offers add-ons like seasonal fruits and smoothies for $4.95. I got a yummy Raspberry Apple Chia Smoothie to have as a snack.

The box brought recipe cards with color pictures and step-by-step instructions, that where easy to follow. Each meal is packed individually with all the ingredients needed for that recipe.  Perfectly proportioned. The food is delivered in an insulated box with dry ice, to keep all your ingredients fresh. After that, I only had to follow the instructions, prep/chop and cooked the meals and in about 30 minutes I was on my way to have a great lunch. See below for pictures of the process and a video!
