There is no such thing as having too many LBD’s (little black dresses). When I’m in a pinch they save me from going thru a case of “I don’t know what to wear”. A few weeks back I bought this little number at the GAP. I love the feminine look that it has and the vintage-y vibes of the sleeves and cut, almost like a modern Jackie O.
I wore this dress to go work with pumps and a blazer, when I received an email for a last minute cocktail party at the Biltmore, I thought about going home and change, but I took off the blazer and layered spike/triangular shape necklaces I had in my bag (yes, I carry around accessories in my bag, you never know when you might need them) and voila!, this outfit transition perfectly to an evening (unplanned) cocktail party. I would have changed to a more cocktail-y smaller purse, but I guess I may need to start carrying one also inside my daily bag, just in case.
