Beauty Review & Collaboration: Maite Makeup Company

I had the chance to collaborate with local make-up company Maite Makeup to do some illustrations for their brand so they can use it for their social media. The idea behind the illustration is a Miami south beach girl that is ready for the party and hit the beach. For inspiration Maite Rivera sent me a few of their products to try out and get the feel of what her brand is all about.

I love makeup especially if they are high pigmented and Maite Makeup delivers that. I am a bold lips kinda girl so when I saw her Senorita Pink lipstick & Exhibitionist lip gloss I knew they had sent me the right stuff, so much that I basically have given up on wearing daily other lip colors and only wearing these ones.

I had the same experience with the blush in color Tutu I adore the tone, and you know that when you have darker/olive skin finding a pink blush that doesn’t make you look like Barbie is hard.

For the eye shadows it comes as a quad package with four complementing hues. I mostly use more nude tones but the palette she send me was fab to do a bright summer smoky eye. If you see closely for the illustrations I used the eye shadows as the color base.

Another thing of this brand is that it is mineral based so no harmful stuff, it is cruelty-free so no bunnies harmed (I’m big on this), and every product is carefully packaged in an environmentally friendly case. So does it get better than this? Yes it does! The prices are affordable and remember if you are in Miami you are buying local.

You can purchase her make-up online at www.maitemakeupcompany.com
