NYC: The High Line and showing off a military fall trend

Camo’d up

On my New York Trip I did my usual round by the Meatpacking district and went up to The High Line park. This is an above ground park built over old metro tracks on the lower west side of Manhattan. The project it is still under development but some areas are done. I visited for the first time this park right when it open a few years ago. It is a relaxing view and walk after a long day of shopping and walking around the city.

For my relaxed shopping day I opted for a little black dress from Uniqlo J+ by Jil Sander and Chuck Taylor All Stars which in my opinion are the best city sneakers ever. The weather was nice but I still carried a jacket. I wanted to try out Fall’s military trend and opted for a Camo jacket borrowed from David’s closet.

Note to self and readers: Always a good idea to check your local thrift store (in my case borrowed closet) to try out trends. Because in reality I wouldn’t wear this jacket everyday.
